Te Hira provides high-quality residential care and day care for individuals living with long-term conditions and dementia. Our dedicated team delivers 24-hour professional care and support, ensuring each resident receives personalised attention in a safe and nurturing environment.
Located in the heart of Rugby, Te Hira is a small and friendly home with just 13 larger-than-average bedrooms, some with full en-suite facilities.
Our beautiful building, originally built in 1904, has a unique character and charm that creates a truly warm and homely atmosphere. The lack of uniformity adds to its personality, helping residents feel comfortable and at ease.
Our bright conservatory opens onto the rear garden, allowing residents to enjoy views of the outdoors all year round — staying cosy and warm during the colder months while still feeling connected to nature.
The health, wellbeing and happiness of our residents are at the heart of everything we do.
We are proud that our care was rated “Good” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following inspection in September 2020.
More recently in December 2025 we were awarded a Food Hygiene rating of 5 “Very Good”.
